Oval shape cards are very unique and outstanding cards that can be used as business cards, postcards, flyers or hand outs. The unusual shape of the oval cards by itself will grab a lot of attentions and help you to succeed in your advertisement and promotional plans. It’s an idea out-of-the box, a little different than common and traditional advertise strategies. You may have this idea already but probably you found it very expensive to order that special shape and die-cutting. Well, we made that easy for you and have it ready to print and cut in shape.
To order your oval shape cards at hikeprint.com you need to have your print ready artwork in acceptable format, size and color mode.

We have three different sizes available for oval shape cards:
- 2×3.5 (business card size)
- 4×6 (postcard size)
And there is 3 different paper stocks available for oval shape cards:
- 14pt Gloss Coated Cover with UV (C2S)
- 14pt Uncoated Cover
- 16pt Dull Cover with Matte Finish
- 24pt Three Layer Green Card with Velvet finish
- 60 lb Gloss Label with UV Coating
If you have the artwork ready just make sure it meets our requirement:
- Size is right (ex: 6”x4”)
- It includes bleed (ex: 6.1”x4.1”)
- It is designed in CMYK mode
- It has 300-350 dpi resolution
- It is in right format: TIF, TIFF, JPG, EPS, PNG, AI, PSD, and PDF
The required bleed for oval shape cards is 0.325” for each dimension. For example a 1.5×2.5 oval card with full bleed should be 1.825” x 2.825”.
Because of the unique shape on this product it’s highly recommended to download and use the proper template file prior to start your design to have the color mode, size, bleed and format correct. The safe zone on the round corner product is different than square corner products.
